Supply Chain and Logistics: Logistics Analyst – Lafayette, IN Job Summary The Logistics Analyst will play a critical role in leading and supporting logistics initiatives, managing vendor relationships, driving data‑driven decision‑making, and executing projects that improve operational performance. Additional Information Location: Lafayette, IN (potential relocation to Lebanon, IN by end of year) Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 6:30 am‑2:30 pm Work setting: 100% on‑site; no hybrid or remote option Travel: up to 50% domestic travel between Lafayette and Lebanon On‑call and overtime support, including weekends, required Relocation assistance not offered Responsibilities Project & Process Management: Lead and support end-to‑end logistics projects, drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, efficiency, and service performance, develop and implement SOPs and best practices, manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines. Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with external logistics providers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, monitor vendor performance using KPIs, ensure SLA compliance, coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities, serve as liaison for effective communication and issue resolution. Data Analytics & Systems: Analyze logistics and operational data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities; develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, Power Apps); support forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis; collaborate with IT to ensure data integrity and system optimization. Operations Support & Continuous Improvement: Troubleshoot operational issues, implement solutions to enhance service levels and reliability; support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of logistics tools (WMS, transportation systems); provide on‑site support across warehouse locations; partner with Planning and cross‑functional teams. Qualifications Required Skills: Planning and organizing, decision making and critical thinking, effective communication, service excellence, accuracy and attention to detail, problem solving. Preferred Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or Operations Management; experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and data visualization tools; familiarity with WMS, transportation systems, or logistics platforms; experience with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana); Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent).
