Accounts Receivable Specialist

Malena Produce is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. This position is responsible for invoicing, credit memos, payment application, and customer collections. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and fully bilingual in English and Spanish. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and timely


• Create and process credit memos


• Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts


• Manage collections and follow up on outstanding balances


• Resolve billing discrepancies and maintain accurate records


• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding account issues

Qualifications:  

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (required)


• Accounts receivable or general accounting experience preferred


• Produce industry experience a plus, but not required


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Proficient with Excel and accounting systems

Education:  

• High school diploma required


• Accounting coursework or degree preferred
