Mobile HVAC Technician

Mobile Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC (On‑site). Standard business hours with on‑call availability. This position does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Job Overview Operates, inspects, and maintains all HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems in assigned facilities to achieve efficient operating results and extend life expectancy. Ensures equipment is safe, energy‑efficient, and downtime is minimized through preventive maintenance and timely repairs. Responsibilities Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems. Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, and building interior/exterior repairs, including grounds and production equipment. Understand and apply proper operating methods for all equipment. Conduct facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations. Submit daily P‑card receipts and update work order status in real time. Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed. Maintain a valid state driver’s license and be available for call‑in work. Required Qualifications Universal CFC recovery certification (or obtained within 90 days of employment). Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, including HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance. Strong background in troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration. High school diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications Experience using CMMS (Work Order) systems. Proficient with computer applications such as Word and Excel. Two years of trade school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, or HVAC.
