Job Opportunity: Faculty Physician in Infectious Diseases
Our organization is currently seeking applications for faculty physicians to join the Division of Infectious Diseases within the Department of Medicine. The selected candidates will play a vital role in advancing our clinical, research, and educational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide attending physician coverage for inpatient and/or outpatient services at various facilities, including Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital-Midtown, Emory St. Joseph's Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital, and the Atlanta VA Medical Center.
- Supervise, evaluate, and formally teach residents, medical students, and Infectious Diseases fellows.
- Encourage and develop independent research initiatives in the field of infectious diseases.
- Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases by the time of hire.
- Medical licensure in the State of Georgia and DEA certification must be obtained by the date of hire.
- Three letters of reference are required from applicants.
- Completion of a three-year Internal Medicine residency in an ACGME-accredited program is mandatory.
- At least two years of fellowship training in Infectious Diseases must be completed by the date of hire.
Salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience and educational background.
