Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The ideal candidate will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required

Essential Functions

• Collect relevant data related to the patient's health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develop and implement a care plan that prescribes interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery while promoting health and a safe environment.
• Evaluate progress towards attaining outcomes and adjust care as necessary.
• Engage with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide educational opportunities for patients/family members and team members.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately and coordinate the activities of healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
