Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred.

• Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license required.

• Certification through ARRT or CNMT required.

• Current BLS/BCLS certification required.

• Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, imaging equipment, and radiation safety.

• Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for nuclear medicine procedures and explain the process.

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.

  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and obtain diagnostic images.

  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to adverse reactions.

  • Follow radiation safety and infection control procedures.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

  • Ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly and report technical issues.
