Job Title: Submissions Technician - Activision Requisition ID: R027420 Job Description: Your Mission As a Submission Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality content to players worldwide by managing the setup, submission, and release of titles across first‑party platforms. You will partner closely with Development, Production, QA, Marketing, and first‑party partners to ensure content is delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with platform requirements. Success in this role means smooth submissions, clear cross‑team communication, and flawless execution across regions, pricing, and release timing. Work Schedule This role is based in our El Segundo, CA office and follows an onsite work schedule of 5 days per week. Work arrangements may change at the company’s discretion to meet business needs. What you bring to the table Priorities can often change in a fast‑paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Set up products within first‑party backend systems to support development, testing, and release readiness Configure platform services, bundled products, pre‑orders, and special incentive offers Track and update product setups as scope, functionality, or timelines evolve Coordinate with first parties and Production to establish submission and release schedules Partner with Marketing to manage product descriptions, artwork, and promotional timing Submit code and required materials to first parties for review and approval Act as a liaison between first‑party partners and internal teams to communicate status, issues, and timelines Verify, upload, and manage marketing assets for first‑party storefronts Configure pricing, discounts, sale dates, and regional release timing Provide submission and platform information to Production and QA teams Support QA by clarifying backend setup versus core code issues Research first‑party backend systems and workflows to support development needs Collaborate with development and first‑party teams to validate planned features or identify viable alternatives Contribute to special projects, training documentation, and process improvements as needed Minimum Requirements Experience 1+ years of experience in entertainment software or a related industry Experience working in a role requiring frequent coordination with multiple teams Experience with technical requirements testing preferred Knowledge & Skills Strong working knowledge of major console platforms and related services Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, OneNote, Excel) Strong understanding of online services, communications, and internet technologies Key Attributes Ability to manage multiple priorities in high‑pressure environments Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Extra Points Experience Previous experience supporting submissions for Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo platforms Knowledge & Skills Familiarity with first‑party backend web portals and submission workflows Key Attributes Self‑motivated learner with a strong desire to grow in the interactive gaming industry Demonstrated ability to mentor and support new team members Rewards Medical, dental, vision, health savings account or health reimbursement account, healthcare spending accounts, dependent care spending accounts, life and AD&D insurance, disability insurance; 401(k) with Company match, tuition reimbursement, charitable donation matching; Paid holidays and vacation, paid sick time, floating holidays, compassion and bereavement leaves, parental leave; Mental health & well‑being programs, fitness programs, free and discounted games, and a variety of other voluntary benefit programs like supplemental life & disability, legal service, ID protection, rental insurance, and others; If the Company requires that you move geographic locations for the job, then you may also be eligible for relocation assistance. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location.
