Registered Nurse (RN), Part-Time (30hrs/week) - Afternoon/Evening Shifts & Weekend Rotation

Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) Plasma Center operations support requires a nurse to manage donor interactions, medical assessments, and operational compliance within the center. Key Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE). Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results. Notify donors of unsuitable test results. Follow SOPs for medical emergencies and coordinate donor transport to emergency care facilities. Consult with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance on donor safety and eligibility. Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation with occupational health/EHS. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats. Provide center‑level support for environmental, health and safety (EHS) in collaboration with BioLife Medical Affairs. Operate within the regulatory framework of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program with state requirements. Licensed or certified in the state of assignment as an Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Current CPR and AED certification. Compliance with state requirements for basic IV therapy. Completion of FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. At least two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting. Location & Compensation Location: USA – TX – Georgetown. Hourly wage range: $35.20 – $48.40.
