We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join our Assurance team . This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to build experience in public accounting, audit, and financial reporting.

The Staff Accountant will support client engagements by preparing accurate workpapers, performing audit procedures, assisting with financial statements, and researching accounting and auditing matters. As experience grows, this position will take on increasingly complex assignments and greater responsibility.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare accurate workpapers for accounting and audit engagements.
• Perform audit procedures for assigned accounts and transactions.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and related notes.
• Research accounting and auditing issues as assigned.
• Communicate engagement status, questions, and issues to the In-Charge.
• Meet established quality, billable-hour, and realization expectations.
• Complete assigned professional development and CPE training.
• Develop increasingly advanced Excel and technical accounting skills.
• Follow firm engagement methodologies and documentation standards.
