2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants The Musco Field Sales Team is seeking a Regional Sales Associate based out of our Corporate office located in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The key areas of focus are prospecting new projects and customers, learning Musco’s systems and sales approach, and developing the skills needed to be a successful sales representative. The RSA is a developmental role that progresses into a Territory Sales Associate, which then leads to a Field Sales Representative. We are a global leader in sports and large-area lighting, providing lighting solutions at recreational complexes, high schools, colleges, and other venues in more than 125 countries. What You Will Do As a Regional Sales Associate Generate market information relevant to the assigned territory Qualify long-range projects via face-to-face customer meetings Perform cold calling to selected schools and municipalities Effectively present and differentiate Musco's products and services to customers Conduct field market research examining the potential sales of new products and services and completing hands-on training Attend tradeshows and conferences Support achieving short and long-term strategic goals What You Will Need To Be Successful College degree in Sports Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, or a related field 2-5 years of previous work experience preferred, entry-level college graduates will be considered Passion for selling and building trusting relationships with our customers Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present in front of groups Proven organizational and time-management skills, ability to manage the workload as it relates to customer visits, project deadlines, and internal communications Work collaboratively with Musco’s internal Team to support our customers Self-disciplined to work independently to achieve results Tenacious attitude and ability to persevere through sales challenges and setbacks Strong technical aptitude to understand and present products and services Motivated to learn and develop Minimum 50% travel required, primarily Monday through Friday Who is Musco?
