Shift Supervisor

About the Role We are seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee and assist with daily cleaning operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a janitorial team while actively participating in cleaning tasks to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the facility. Responsibilities Lead, train, and supervise janitorial staff to ensure quality and efficiency. Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Inspect work areas to ensure cleaning standards are met. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage. Assign tasks and create schedules to meet facility needs. Address and resolve staff or client concerns professionally and promptly. Follow and enforce safety guidelines and company policies. Communicate with management regarding staff performance and operational needs. Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in janitorial services and team supervision preferred. Must have excellent internal and external customer service. Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in maintenance work. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Must be bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak). Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, standing, and bending. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.
