Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with catheterization procedures, electrophysiology, and related cardiovascular interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for cardiac patients undergoing procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff to prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and EP procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any adverse events during interventions.
• Document procedure details and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Assist with sedation, documentation, and circulatory support during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain sterile procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license with active Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications with current expiration dates, preferably AHA or ARC.
• Have at least 2 years of clinical experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Provide two recent references obtained within the last year.
