Lead Technology Strategy for a Landmark Fort Worth Organization

A highly respected and influential organization in Fort Worth is seeking a Director of Technology to lead the strategic vision, execution, and modernization of enterprise technology operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive leader will play a critical role in aligning technology initiatives with long-terms business objectives while overseeing infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud operations, and enterprise systems.

What You'll Do

As the Director of Technology, you will:

• Develop and execute the organization's technology strategy and roadmap
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology, cybersecurity, and operational risk
• Lead and mentor the IT team, vendors, and external technology partners
• Drive innovation while ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable technology operations
• Oversee enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, networking, and cybersecurity programs
• Establish and maintain security, governance, and compliance standards
• Manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning initiatives
• Ensure effective identity and access management practices across the organization
• Lead incident response reviews and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align technology investments with business goals
• Oversee campus technology systems, including security and monitoring technologies

Required Experience

• 10+ years of technology leadership experience
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise IT operations and strategic technology initiatives
• Strong background in:
• Microsoft 365
• Cybersecurity
• Cloud & Hybrid Environments
• IT Infrastructure Operations
• Identity & Access Management
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
• Experience implementing and managing security technologies such as:
• Firewalls
• Network Security Architecture
• Proven ability to balance business enablement with risk management
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting organizations within:
• Private Equity
• Venture Capital
• Similar asset-intensive business environments
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to influence executive decision-making
