Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical ICU Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Augusta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation; Patient ratio 1:2-3 in a 15-bed unit with average daily census of 12

Highlights:

• Medical Surgical ICU caring for adults to geriatric patients with complex, critical conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest recovery, DKA, acute kidney disease, and post-surgical complications
• Gain experience with specialized procedures including CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), TTM (Targeted Temperature Management), chest tubes, central line management, and continuous IV infusions
• Epic EMR system required; facility also utilizes Pyxis and SBAR protocols
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and radiology
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of relevant ICU experience
• Maximum 7 days requested time off available (blackout dates apply during Spring Break: April 4-12)

Requirements:

• Current RN license (Georgia or Compact state)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical ICU experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 2-3 patient ratios preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial and central line care, vasoactive drip titration, blood product administration, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
