This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated cardiologist or intensivist to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team Call structure: None Practice setting: Inpatient Employed position within a nonprofit health system Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care or Cardiology Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical services to patients within your assigned clinical area, ensuring a patient-centered approach and adherence to safety standards. Expert Clinical Assessment: Conduct thorough physical examinations and clinical evaluations to accurately diagnose a wide range of medical conditions 30 heart transplants annually 80 durable LVAD implants per year Expanding ECMO program Full spectrum of temporary mechanical circulatory support (Impella, Centrimag, IABP, etc.) Implementation of a formal shock program Pulmonary hypertension care integrated with advanced therapies Robust clinical research programs in advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and critical care Malpractice coverage with tail About the Facility 840 bed hospital Level 1 Trauma Center Serves diverse, statewide population primarily focusing on Marion County while acting as a referral center for all 92 Indiana counties. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
