Dermatology Nurse Practitioner

Bronx, New York - Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

• Permanent, full-time position
• Seeking a board certified Nurse Practitioner
• Multispecialty group setting
• Nursing home-based dermatology care
• Must have at least 6 months of dermatology experience (general dermatology, not cosmetic-only)
• H1B visa sponsorship available
• J1 Waiver and CONRAD 30 candidates welcome
• Spanish-speaking preferred (not required)

• Support dermatology physicians and facilitate patient care and recovery
• Work under physician supervision caring for a diverse patient population

• Obtain medical histories and perform physical exams
• Conduct skin cancer screenings
• Diagnose and treat dermatologic conditions (acne, eczema, rosacea, etc.)
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Perform procedures: biopsies, wide excisions, cryotherapy
• Develop and manage treatment plans
• Prescribe medications
• Educate patients on preventive skincare
• Perform select cosmetic procedures (Botox, laser resurfacing, chemical peels)
• Assist in surgical procedures, including Mohs surgery

• Active, unrestricted NP license
• DEA required
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program
• Minimum 6 months of dermatology experience required
• Long-term care or SNF experience preferred (hospital/outpatient also considered)
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Sigma, Visual, PCC preferred; training available)
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

• Salary range: $130,000-$150,000 annually
