Day Care Aide (On File for Future openings)
Palestine Independent School District
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Associates Degree in Early Childhood (or equivalent coursework in Early Childhood) preferred
Applicants lacking CDA or college coursework will be required to obtain CDA within the first two years of employment and must have experience in Early Childhood
Valid Texas educational aide certificate (if hired)
Successful completion of basic written exam
Work under the supervision of the Early Childhood Coordinator
Provide an educational program which supports the optimal development of each child to increase parental knowledge and understanding of child growth and development
Ability to work well with children
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively Salary:
Commensurate with experience
