Travel RN – Med Surg / Telemetry Short Stay, Nights (4x12)

Contract | Night Shift | 19:00–07:00 | 4x12 | 48 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adult patients on a Med Surg/Telemetry unit (50% Medical / 50% Telemetry)
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 4–6:1 and utilize standard telemetry unit equipment and EPIC EMR
• Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units
• Work every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Function within the scope of nursing practice consistent with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established nursing guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
• Minimum 2+ years of Telemetry nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• NIHSS certification required
• Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required November 1 – April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Strong team-oriented mindset with a focus on positive patient outcomes and superior communication skills
