Inventory Clerk Job Description

We're looking for an exceptional Inventory Clerk to help us achieve our operating plan. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to ensure that appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained. We prefer applicants who have some Inventory experience, but we are willing to train the right person.

The Big Task

As an Inventory Control Clerk, you are responsible for maintaining accurate records of all inventory items (materials, tools, equipment, etc.) that has been purchased by the company and track all items that come into and out of the warehouse via distribution logs.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance, exercising discretion and independent judgment.
• Computer data entry experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• High School Degree or GED.

Responsibilities

• Itemizes Purchase Orders:
  • Verifies Vendor and Purchase Order Type correspond to the Ship Ticket (or Invoice)
  • Adds items to the Purchase Order in ServiceTitan
  • Scans Ship Tickets (or Invoices) and attaches file to the Purchase Order in ServiceTitan
  • After this is done, "Sent" and "Received" buttons are pressed
• Handles all equipment registration and adds required information into the customers' location records.
• Processes and documents warranty items as required following established procedures.
• Monitors records of all activities in the warehouse to ensure proper documentation of outgoing (and incoming) materials, including daily requisition logs; verifies that all stock is locked away and all movement carefully controlled (and accurately tracked).
• Work in conjunction with other departments to manage the product ordering, inventory control and distribution activities throughout the warehouse.
• Process all company-supplied tools and equipment and maintain an accurate distribution log.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
