As a Security Officer Unarmed - Site Monitor in Sumter SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

05:30 PM - 11:30 PM

12:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients shoppers and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents customer concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location including sales floors entrances exits parking areas and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity potential theft and policy violations documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control crowd management and maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
