Minimum Requirements

Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Washington State physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Minimum experience: Inpatient acute rehabilitation experience required. Facilities seek clinicians with experience treating adult and older adult populations in an inpatient rehab setting.
Experience with common diagnoses in inpatient rehab, such as stroke/CVA and other neuro conditions, preferred.
Comfort managing an average patient load consistent with inpatient rehab ratios (approximately 6–7 treatments in an 8-hour day).
Ability to work with electronic health records and standard inpatient rehab equipment preferred.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Hospital (inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital).
Shift Name: Days.
Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
Schedule: Monday through Friday with one weekend day per month and one compensatory day per month.
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
Patient population: Adult and older adult inpatient rehabilitation.
Number of beds on unit: 60.
Typical patient ratio: Approximately 6.5 treatments per clinician in an 8-hour day.
First day report time: 8:00 AM. Report to front parking and ask for the designated contact upon arrival.
