Breakfast Attendant/Banquet ServerWe are currently seeking an extraordinary Breakfast Attendant/Banquet Server, you are responsible for the overall success of the Hotel's breakfast service and Banquet meetings ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met. The role of the Breakfast Attendant/Banquet Server is to be a key person of reference for guests while preparing and serving food and beverage products in the hotel breakfast or banquet area. You are responsible for ensuring everything is set up to standard, and set out in a timely fashion.This position requires flexible scheduling availability.Job Requirements:Cooking and assembling the breakfast service before mealtime and disassembling it thereafterEnsuring breakfast items are replenished and available to guests during breakfast hours according to standardMaintain cleanliness of entire breakfast area including equipment during and after breakfast hoursWash dishes, clean kitchen and maintain daily temp logsAssist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage itemsFollows all food safety and sanitation guidelinesProvide information and assistance to all guests and vendorsCleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after each meal serviceMaintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guestsBe able to stand and move for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 poundsAssist in servicing Banquet areaSet up all coffee breaks, food breaks, plates and utensils in accordance with event requirements and standardsEnsuring a wonderful experience from beginning to end while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanlinessPerform additional duties and responsibilities as needed for banquet serviceRemoving each round of dirty plates, and replenishing utensilsExperience in banquet service, preferred not requiredJob Qualifications:Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievementMust be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessaryAbility to work well in stressful situationsReadily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest serviceThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors.
