Job DescriptionDewberry Design-Builders Inc. is seeking a Regional Market Sector Leader to help lead and grow our design‑build water and wastewater practice across the Carolinas and Mid‑Atlantic. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys shaping strategy, delivering complex infrastructure projects, and brings strong relationships with civil and specialty subcontractors throughout the region. This role offers a hybrid schedule. Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll DoDirect business development efforts and pursuit strategies for water/wastewater design‑build projectsManage construction planning, estimating, pricing, and execution for complex infrastructure projectsOversee multidisciplinary design and construction teams through full project deliveryLead subcontractor identification, vetting, partnering, and contract strategyReview and manage prime contracts and subcontract agreementsPartner with HSE leadership to promote a strong safety culture across all projectsDrive collaboration across Dewberry offices and water sector teamsEnsure projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and client expectationsSupports recruiting efforts aligned with market growth strategiesRequired Skills & Required ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Environmental Engineering (preferred)15+ years of experience in water/WWTP or related field involving construction of complex MEP intensive projectsExperience with water/wastewater projects for municipal and industrial facilitiesStrong knowledge of design‑build or alternative delivery methodsProven leadership in safety, QA/QC, risk management, and financial performanceStrong business development skillsStrong client relationship and subcontractor network in the Carolinas and Mid‑AtlanticExcellent communication and team‑building skillsDon’t meet every single requirement?
