Small Engine Mechanic

Turf Equipment, of Belmont, is seeking an experienced small-engine mechanic to join the team! This position will likely begin on a part-time/probationary basis, then expand to full-time based on ability level & availability. Key Responsibilities Diagnosing incoming equipment Cleaning and lubricating engine parts, checking fluid levels, sharpening blades, and replacing air filters Taking apart small engines to identify worn or damaged parts Replacing basic components like spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filters, and fuel lines Performing carburetor rebuilds, and other common reapairs Assisting in identifying engine malfunctions by listening to sounds, observing symptoms, and using basic diagnostic tools Performing repairs according to established guidelines and manufacturer specifications Keeping track of repair details, parts used, and customer information Minimum Qualifications & Standards To perform this work successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
