Word Processor Department: Word Processing Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Detroit, MI Description We are looking for a full-time evening word processor for our Detroit office. Position hours are Monday – Friday, 12pm – 8pm Key Responsibilities Type, edit and transcribe legal documents and handwritten materials received from attorneys and their assistants in a busy law office. Proofread and redline documents to ensure accuracy of material, grammar and punctuation. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Previous experience of 2-5 years in a legal or professional environment preferred. Must possess excellent typing skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, including styling. Knowledge of legal terms preferred. Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints. Strong attention to detail. Ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical or spelling errors. Must be self-motivated, with the ability to work quickly, efficiently and confidently without close supervision. #J-18808-Ljbffr
