Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/25/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a strong background in Med/Surg Telemetry. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced night shift environment. This position demands not only clinical expertise but also the ability to effectively communicate with patients and families in various healthcare settings. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including assessment and monitoring of telemetry patients. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Conduct patient education and engage with patients and families to ensure understanding of care plans. Utilize Epic for charting and documentation to ensure accurate patient records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure A minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. Current and valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license. Active certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start. Epic experience is required. One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. Schedule This position requires availability for night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including at least every other holiday. Why ARMStaffing?
