Rope Access Technician Level II

Responsibilities Reviews Work Order, PO, procedures and specifications assigned to him/her by management Facilitates what equipment is needed for assigned inspection job Generates a JSEA prior to the start of each job Standardize the NDT equipment per assigned procedure. Verifies all inspection equipment is up to date and visually inspects equipment to assure it is in good working order. Set’s up Ropes securely per our Rope Access procedures and under the Supervision of our Rope Level 3 Ensures proper traceability of material/ products to be inspected Carries out soft craft work such as stripping insulation and coatings, applying new insulation / coatings for CUI remediation per assigned procedure and specification. Cleans material and work area to an orderly fashion Takes frequent inventory of NDE and Soft craft kits and company vehicle and lets supervisor aware of upcoming equipment/ material needs. Cleans and maintains company vehicle if one is assigned Education / Certification / Training / Experience Requirements Must hold a Rope Access SPRAT Certification as a Level 2. 3 years’ experience with insulation and coatings.
