Schedule: Self-scheduling with every third weekend requirement; 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio

Highlights:

• 25-bed Intensive Care Unit in a state-of-the-art facility working towards Unit of Distinction
• Open heart recovery, CRRT, Impella, bedside cardioversions, and bronchoscopy procedures
• MediTech documentation system with Alaris pumps and GE monitoring equipment
• Unit support includes Charge Nurse, Unit Secretary coverage (7am-11pm), and Education staff
• Organization actively pursuing Pathway to Excellence designation
• Travel/agency nurses first to float, primarily to telemetry units or as resource support

Requirements:

• Active Kansas RN license or compact state licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Critical care experience required with strong communication skills and adaptability
• Neuro and trauma experience preferred
• Adherence to AIDET patient experience standards
• Royal blue scrubs required
