Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care, including triage, treatment, and discharge care for Emergency Department patients, from newborns to geriatrics.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and therapies as ordered, and document care accurately in the medical record.
- Assess patients, respond to changes in condition, and implement appropriate interventions in a fast-paced ED environment.
- Collaborate with CNAs and the ED team to ensure safe patient flow, timely disposition, and efficient throughput.
- Communicate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care and discharge planning.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and adherence to established protocols and standards of care.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a busy Emergency Department setting
- Strong assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities for ED operations
- Experience in emergency department or acute care nursing is preferred
