We are seeking a high-energy, social, and genuinely kind Medical Assistant to join our growing, modern, family-friendly podiatry practice. This role is perfect for someone who is extremely personable and “over-the-top” sweet with patients, while also being quick, efficient, detail-oriented, and highly organized behind the scenes. Position Overview As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in both the clinical and patient experience sides of the practice. You will work closely with the doctor and team to ensure that every patient visit runs smoothly, efficiently, and leaves a lasting positive impression. We are looking for someone who can balance hospitality with precision and efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be creating a welcoming environment while maintaining excellent clinical flow and ensuring documentation accuracy. Key Responsibilities Warmly welcome and escort patients from reception to treatment rooms Perform thorough and efficient clinical intake and accurately document in the EHR Prepare patients and assist the doctor during exams, procedures, and treatments Carry out select clinical tasks under physician direction Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment Sterilize instruments and ensure adherence to all safety protocols Complete requisitions and coordinate specimen handling as needed Support front and back office operations as needed to maintain seamless workflow What We’re Looking For A true team player who contributes to a positive, supportive work environment Naturally friendly, social, and engaging personality - someone patients instantly feel comfortable with Exceptionally kind and attentive - goes above and beyond to make patients feel cared for Fast-paced and proactive - able to stay one step ahead in a busy clinic Detail-oriented and diligent - especially with documentation and follow-through Strong communication skills - polished, professional, and confident Comfortable multitasking while maintaining a high level of accuracy Tech-savvy and confident navigating EHR systems Professional appearance and demeanor at all times Qualifications 1-2 years of medical assistant experience required (podiatry experience is a strong plus) Certification as a medical assistant preferred Willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude and personality Bilingual candidates are a plus Schedule 4 weekdays: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Alternating Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Compensation $20.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience) Growth opportunities Working With Us You’ll be part of a modern, team-oriented practice where patient experience is everything.
