Position Details:
Title: QC Analyst I Laboratory Technician Chemistry
Position Type: 3 month contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need
Job Location : Newark, DE
Shift: 7AM-7PM -rotating schedule on 28day pattern. days and nights, weekends and weekdays
Benefits : 401K, Dental insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance, PTO
Compensation : $18-$24/HR

Position Summary
QC Analyst I within the Quality Control team responsible for performing analytical testing on finished products, in-process materials, and raw materials in a chemistry laboratory. Ensures all products meet established specifications and consumer safety standards while supporting manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC testing accurately and consistently in a GMP laboratory environment
• Conduct testing in accordance with SOPs and established procedures
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Prepare, qualify, and manage laboratory reagents as required
• Record, analyze, and report results using LIMS
• Communicate test results and relevant findings to appropriate stakeholders
• Work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends as required

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate Degree in Chemical Technology, Microbiology, or related scientific field preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered

Experience

• 6 months to 2 years of GMP laboratory or equivalent chemistry lab experience preferred
• Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and analytical testing procedures
• Strong math and analytical skills, including ability to perform calculations
• Proficient in MS Office, email, and general computer systems
