For more information, visit As a Registered Nurse - PRN, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Cleveland, NC.The scheduled hours are PRN - as needed. Flexible PRN Opportunity: Pick up shifts as needed while enjoying the stability of a dedicated onsite health center and a collaborative, supportive team.Diverse Clinical Experience: Care for patients ages 2+ with a variety of needs, from acute visits and physicals to chronic condition management, without the pace and environment of a traditional hospital or urgent care setting.What You'll DoAssesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practiceCollaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as neededPerforms and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practiceMaintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control proceduresMaintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date recordsEducates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up carePerforms other duties as assignedWhat You'll BringCertificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferredCurrently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice requiredCurrent certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of servicesCertification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sitesAt least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinicPremise is an equal opportunity employer; we value inclusion and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, ethnicity, sex (including pregnancy and related conditions), gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental disability, genetic information, past, current or prospective service in the uniformed services, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
