Assistant Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent in overseeing the day-to-day field operations of high-rise multifamily projects in the Houston area. This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring work is completed to the highest quality. Key Responsibilities Assist the Superintendent with daily site operations and field supervision. Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work progresses safely and efficiently. Monitor project progress and support short-term scheduling and planning. Ensure work complies with project plans, specifications, building codes, and quality standards. Conduct site inspections, identify deficiencies, and oversee corrective actions. Promote and enforce OSHA and company safety policies. Coordinate inspections with local authorities and third-party inspectors. Maintain daily reports, site documentation, and photo records. Assist with material deliveries, site logistics, and equipment coordination. Support project closeout, punch lists, unit turnovers, and final inspections. Qualifications 2–7+ years of commercial construction experience. Experience on high-rise multifamily, mixed-use or hospitality projects Strong understanding of construction sequencing and subcontractor coordination. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Build, or Bluebeam. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
