Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician

Accentuate staffing is assisting a leading commercial property management company who is hiring a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits working 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. Responsibilities Facilities Maintenance Technician will conduct routine maintenance tasks such as electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and general building repairs. Technician will perform general repairs and installations such as changing light bulbs, light switches, receptacles, door locks. Technician will repair and install alarm and fire protection systems, piping, tubing, plumbing fixtures. Technician will perform general carpentry, floor repairs, etc. Technician will keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs. Technician will perform installation and repairs of ceiling tiles, wall coverings, window blinds, signage. Technician will monitor water chemical treatment programs for cooling towers and fountains. Requirements Candidates must have proven experience in commercial facilities maintenance Candidates must have a strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance systems. Candidates must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently. Candidates must have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Candidates must have the ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed. Candidates must have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and vendors. Candidates must have a valid NC driver’s license. Candidates with a 2 year technical degree preferred. Candidates with a Refrigerant Transition and Recovery certification a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Accentuate Staffing
