Automotive Technician

Automotive Drivability / Transmission TechnicianColonial Chevrolet of Acton is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive drivability / transmission Technician to join our team. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary of $40 to $50 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, our employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company.$5000.00 sign on bonusResponsibilities:Diagnose and repair various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVsPerform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure they are operating safely and efficientlyUse diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issuesCommunicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs needed and provide status updatesKeep accurate records of all work performed and parts usedFollow all safety procedures and guidelines while working in the shopStay up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in ongoing training and developmentRequirements: Ability to diagnose and repair drivability issues as well transmission issues- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician- Valid driver's license and clean driving record- ASE certification preferred- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities- Excellent communication and customer service skillsEEOC Statement: We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
