Location: Pittsfield, MA

Start Date: 08-24-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour afternoon shifts, Monday-Friday 40 hours guaranteed, weekends and holidays as needed, on-call required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery
• Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures, maintaining sterile field and assisting surgical team
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians to deliver optimal outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EHR system

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of current Operating Room experience
• Scrub and circulate experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must reside 50+ miles from facility (traveler status)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of surgical aseptic technique and sterile field management
• Ability to scrub and circulate effectively in a fast-paced OR environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient with Meditech Expanse or similar EHR
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods during surgery
