Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to repair and maintain the tractor and trailer equipment at our Reyes Beverage Group shop in Richmond, VA. Position Responsibilities The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed roadworthy You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam) You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement) Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles Preferred Education and Experience Technical School Certification Benefits At the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees.
