In addition to wages, this position is eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus structure as well as medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits offered through Habitat, detailed here: Scope:The Community Manager is accountable for all property operations. The purpose of the manager is to effectively manage and coordinate persons, activities and available resources in order to accomplish property objectives as set forth by the Regional Manager. These objectives will include maximizing property values and maintenance of the property’s mechanical systems. In addition, the manager will train the Assistant Community Manager to assume all duties of the Manager in the event of the Manager’s absence.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Conduct all business in accordance with The Habitat Company’s policies and procedures, fair housing, and all other laws pertaining to residential units as well as all employment lawsIn conjunction with the Regional Manager, the Community Manager will assist in formulation of budgets for each upcoming calendar yearEnsure that all rents are collected when due, and posted in a timely mannerConstant vendor/contractor communications concerning work scheduling, billings, vendor relations and certificates of insuranceMaintain records on all aspects of management activity on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.Payroll and invoice processingReport all liability and property incidents immediatelyConfirm that all worker’s compensation claims are reported and proper paperwork is completedPrepare and maintain all emergency procedures and plansIn partnership with Human Resources, hire, terminate, train, motivate and supervise all on-site staff in order to achieve operational goals of assigned propertyConduct on-going training with office staff any other type of training that may be needed on a daily basisMaintain accurate payroll records as required by the CompanyPerform other related duties as assignedSkills and Qualifications:2+year(s) experience as an on-site Community Manager at a luxury 300+ unit property.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.Experience with budgeting and handling variance report explanationsExperience with Yardi preferredMust have or obtain within 120 days of hire a leasing license or broker’s license as required by license law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
