Pediatric Nocturnist with Banner Childrens in Glendale, AZ!

Become part of a collaborative, dynamic community hospitalist team committed to delivering exceptional inpatient care for pediatric patients and newborns! Banner Children‘s Specialists (BCS) is seeking a Pediatric Nocturnist to provide inpatient care for children and newborns at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ.

Position Overview:

• 1.0 FTE
• Care for pediatric inpatients and newborns at a community-based hospital with robust specialist support.
• Night shift is 7pm-7am. Scheduling is 7 days on, 7 days off to foster work life balance.
• Competitive base salary with wRVU productivity incentives and night shift differential.

Qualifications:

• Pediatric Residency completion
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Pediatrics
• Arizona license and DEA (or ability to obtain)
• Board certification in pediatric hospital medicine is not required. New residency graduates are encouraged to apply!

Serving a pediatric population of 350,000+, Banner Childrens at Thunderbird (BTMC) in Glendale is a state-of-the-art, 890,000-square-foot acute-care facility is on 33 acres on the southwest corner of 55th Avenue and Thunderbird Road in Glendale, Arizona. A recently completed $290 million expansion project added a spacious and comfortable main lobby, a patient/family library, a heart and vascular center, state-of-the-art surgical suites and a 200-bed patient tower to the campus.

Glendale, AZ is just west of Phoenix and conveniently located near top universities, an international airport, multiple entertainment and outdoor recreation venues, and is home to several professional sports teams.
