What You'll Do:

• Provide urgent medical care to adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older) in busy urgent and emergency care settings.
• Perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations with confidence and precision.
• Serve as the sole provider, ensuring seamless patient assessments and treatment plans.
• Use Epic EMR system efficiently, maintaining accurate and thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with a supportive staff team and work independently following established protocols.
• Uphold high standards of patient-centered care, embodying our culture of compassion, respect, and excellence.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in urgent or emergency care.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR (training provided).
• Current board certification (e.g., NCCPA, NP Boards), PA certification, Family Nurse Practitioner certification, BLS, and DEA registration.
• Ability to treat both adult and pediatric patients with professionalism and empathy.
• Strong soft skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and staff.
• Capable of handling high patient volumes while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently as the sole provider in a clinical setting.
• Willingness to work within a 60-mile radius of your residence (mileage reimbursement available).

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience performing minor procedures such as I&Ds and lac repairs.
• Prior experience in busy urgent care or emergency medicine environments.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS.
• Bilingual abilities or additional languages are a plus.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduate-level degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Family Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in urgent or emergency care settings.
• Current, active medical licenses and certifications in good standing.

Other Requirements:

• Must pass a clinical screening and participate in EMR training sessions, including set onboarding and training days.
• Will be based at multiple clinics within a 60-mile radius, with travel limited to mileage reimbursement-no travel or lodging expenses paid.
• Ability to provide all necessary credentialing documentation prior to scheduling shifts.
• Commitment to working scheduled shifts on approved dates, including mandatory training Wednesdays.
