Senior Civil Engineer

Senior Civil Site Engineer – Washington, DC

Are you ready to take the lead on exciting land development projects in the Washington, DC area? A well-established consulting engineering firm is seeking a Senior Civil Site Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile commercial, residential, mixed-use, and institutional developments while mentoring junior engineers and playing a key role in project success.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and management of civil site development projects.
Prepare site layout, grading, stormwater management, utility, and erosion & sediment control plans.
Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Support business development and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
PE license required.
7+ years of civil site/land development engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design.
Experience with Civil 3D preferred.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or hold a Green Card.
