Accounting Manager

Title: Accounting Manager (Accounts Receivable) Location: ONSITE Chattanooga, TN Job Type: Permanent/Direct Hire Salary: $90,000-$100,000 (Flex depending on experience) Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related 5+ years of Accounts Receivable experience required; 7-10+ years preferred Prior leadership or supervisory experience within an AR or accounting environment Nice to have: Experience with integrated receivables Day-to-Day: A client of Insight Global's is seeking an Accounting Manager (Accounts Receivable) to join their corporate accounting team onsite in Chattanooga, TN. This individual will oversee the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function, managing a receivables portfolio exceeding $85M in annual billings. The role will directly oversee the AR Supervisor while partnering closely with corporate accounting, operations, customer service, and field-based AR personnel to optimize processes, improve collections, and support business growth. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day AR operations, collections, billing, and cash reconciliation activities Manage and mentor the AR Supervisor while providing support and guidance to field-based AR personnel Serve as a primary point of contact for customer billing and collections-related issues Partner with Customer Service, Operations, and Accounting teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and drive timely collections Oversee customer-specific billing requirements, including invoice submission through customer portals Manage integrated receivables processes, including lockbox relationships and automated invoice matching solutions Drive process improvements and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and automation across the AR function Manage third-party vendor relationships and AR-related service providers #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
