Job Description

Job Summary:

The CT Tech is responsible for performing advanced computed tomography imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. This role requires precise technical skills and adherence to safety standards to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic CT scans following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment and optimize imaging parameters for accurate results.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures and patient information.
• Adhere to all radiologic safety standards and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (R.T. R)(CT) or R.T. (ARRT).
• Possess advanced certification in CT imaging.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Preferably have venipuncture certification, especially in CA and OR.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Possess excellent communication skills and patient care abilities.
