Job Description The New Home Consultant is responsible for managing the new home purchase process from initial customer contact to closing, with the aim of creating a delighted customer experience. This includes daily operations at Welcome Home Centers, processing sale agreements, and closing sales in line with company business plans. Your Responsibilities on the Team Engage and establish relationships with visitors to understand their home buying needs, utilizing the company’s selling philosophy. Self-generate sales leads through community engagement, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting. Develop comprehensive knowledge of the competitive market, including products, community features, and demographics. Provide consistent follow-through with customers from initial contact to post-closing, maintaining accurate communication records. Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs. Ensure the maintenance of Welcome Home Center models and inventory homes. Complete required training and participate in community events and phone banks. Your Toolbox (Qualifications) High school diploma or equivalent; college degree and real estate license preferred. 1–2 years of experience in homebuilding or real estate sales preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use sales tracking tools. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements Regular in-person attendance at Company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours is essential. The role may require working more than eight hours per day in construction trailer environments, operating a motor vehicle, reading plans, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting or moving equipment (potentially over 50 pounds). Occasional operation of construction equipment may be required. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
