Manager of Reporting and Analysis

JOB SUMMARYProvide deep analytics around the most complex issues facing revenue management, including segmentation, pricing, demand, promotions, and market share. Develop models and reports to help other analysts and business leaders identify underlying business trends, risks, and opportunities, and pinpoint hotels needing additional support. • 4-year bachelor’s degree in related quantitative discipline (finance, operations, economics, statistics, mathematics), or related major; 6 years of experience in relevant field. Preferred

• Strong data analysis skills, including experience querying and manipulation of large quantities of data using applications such as SQL, SAS, Access and Excel (pivot tables, modeling, etc.).
• MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline
• Experience with statistical analysis, business intelligence tools and analyzing data using SQL or SAS is significant a plusCORE WORK ACTIVITIES
• Perform complex analyses for marketing programs to support Data Science and Revenue Management teams, identifying opportunities for advanced analytics to enhance productivity, satisfaction, and profitability.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills in data modeling and statistical analysis, and identify and solve complex problems affecting daily work.
• Understand different revenue potentials of customer/stakeholder groups and maintain industry knowledge to implement beneficial strategies.
• Lead analytics and data strategy teams, providing technical assistance, best practices, and business expertise to troubleshoot data challenges.
• Model and promote proper use of facilities and materials, manage technical assignments, and coach others on advanced issues.
• Reinforce technical standards and processes, driving revenue and market share growth through analysis and reports.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams to improve measurement processes, acting as the primary contact for reporting and data.
