Maintenance Planner

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Planner to join our team in Boardman, OH. This role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently organize and schedule maintenance activities for plant equipment, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Organize and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for plant equipment.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and tools to ensure efficient and timely completion of maintenance work.
• Utilize maintenance planning software, such as Manager's Plus, to create, track, and manage work orders and maintenance history.
• Prioritize maintenance backlog and address outstanding work orders within targeted timeframes.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to align maintenance schedules with production needs.
• Monitor equipment performance and support proactive maintenance strategies to improve uptime.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Review completed work to ensure quality and compliance with plant standards.
• Track and report key maintenance metrics and performance data to leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce downtime, and increase overall plant reliability.
• Ensure necessary replacement parts and inventory levels are available to support scheduled maintenance work.
• Support company safety policies and contribute to a safe working environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems, preferably Manager's Plus or similar.
• Understanding of maintenance processes, including preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, prioritize work, and manage competing deadlines.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and repair processes.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across maintenance, operations, and leadership teams.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and general computer systems.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate/bachelor's degree in a technical or related field preferred.
• Basic project coordination or planning experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a consistent work-life balance. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Youngstown, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
