Research Associate

Help accelerate drug discovery through hands-on LC-MS analysis and bioanalytical testing. In this role, you'll support early-stage pharmacokinetic (PK) studies that help scientists determine which drug candidates advance through the development process. Working in a fast-paced laboratory environment, you'll gain exposure to bioanalytical testing, mass spectrometry, and drug development while making a direct impact on research decisions.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and analyze biological samples from preclinical studies
• Perform sample preparation, extraction, and LC-MS analysis
• Prepare reagents, standards, and laboratory solutions
• Operate laboratory equipment including pipettes, centrifuges, and liquid handling systems
• Review and interpret analytical data
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support study timelines

Qualifications

• M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related scientific field
  • OR -
• B.S. in a scientific discipline with 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience
• Experience operating LC-MS instrumentation and analyzing data
• Experience with HPLC and general laboratory techniques
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
