Technical Supply Chain Analyst

The Technical Supply Chain Analyst provides technical supply chain support to ensure the timely availability of materials, equipment, and services needed for safe and reliable operations. This role works closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, procurement, and inventory teams to support material management, catalog maintenance, procurement activities, inventory optimization, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Process technical material requests, create and maintain catalog items, and update material master data.
• Review material requirements and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams to verify specifications and support sourcing decisions.
• Analyze inventory levels and stocking requirements to maintain material availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing requisitions, identifying technical requirements, and resolving material-related issues.
• Research alternative materials, replacement components, and sourcing solutions to meet operational requirements.
• Monitor material forecasts, supplier lead times, and inventory levels to support planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve material shortages, obsolescence, and availability issues.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy of material records, documentation, and data within enterprise supply chain and inventory management systems.
• Support outage planning, critical material readiness reviews, and other supply chain initiatives as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with Asset Suite NAMS.
• Knowledge of supply chain, procurement, inventory control, or materials management processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, material specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functional teams.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, inventory management applications, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting utility, power generation, industrial, manufacturing, or nuclear operations.
• Familiarity with procurement engineering, catalog management, inventory optimization, and material forecasting.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and safety-related materials management.
