Elementary Special Education Teacher

Job Summary (Elementary School Special Education Teacher, K-2 Developmental Classroom):
- Teach and support approximately 16 K-2 students in a developmental special education classroom
- Work with children on basic skills and functional routines; some students are non-verbal
- Collaborate with 5 instructional assistants in the classroom
- Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
- Pay rate: $58 $62 per hour (W-2), based on experience
- Responsible for implementing and managing IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
- Develop and execute lesson plans tailored to students' needs
- Work collaboratively with faculty and parents
- Address and support children with externalizing behaviors
- Foster positive, meaningful connections with students
- Weekly pay (every Friday)

- Must have a bachelor's degree in education with a focus on special education
- Must have completed an approved preparation program
