Moyers Veterinary Hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Morristown, Tennessee, a friendly East Tennessee city tucked between two lakes and a short drive from Great Smoky Mountains National Park. • Cherokee Lake is a bass angler's dream. It's regularly ranked among the best bass-fishing lakes in the Southeast, with roughly 400 miles of shoreline for boating, paddling, swimming, and camping. Striper fishing is big here too.
• Panther Creek State Park covers more than 1,400 acres on the lake, with 30+ miles of hiking trails, 15+ miles of mountain biking, horseback trails, and a lookout at Point Lookout with views over the lake and the Cumberland Mountains.

• A historic downtown with a quirky twist. After a major flood in 1962, downtown Morristown was rebuilt with a unique "overhead sidewalk" of elevated walkways connecting second-floor businesses. The district is on the National Register of Historic Places.

• DVM degree and active (or eligible) Tennessee veterinary license
• Solid clinical and surgical skills and a client-friendly communication style
• A team player who wants to build lasting relationships with clients and patients
• Someone ready to trade traffic for lake views

• Full Time OR Part Time Veterinarian
• Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
• Proficient in general medicine and surgery 
• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university
• Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
• Active Veterinary State License 
• USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
